If you are looking for a well priced detached house with private outside space this could be the one for you.  It is situated 1km or less from a lovely welcoming Spanish bar which also has a mini shop inside for essentials like rice, loo roll, washing liquid.

Area

It’s in a small hamlet with a welcoming community of Spanish and English families.  Reached by a tarmac road you have the benefit of great access and amazing views.

Parking and outside space

 

There is parking alongside the house on the gated driveway or around the large outbuilding and next to the upper terrace where a car port could be erected.

The front driveway leads to the lovely shaded courtyard which has an ancient grapevine at one end and a fruiting Orange tree at the other.  So you will soon be making your own marmalade and plucking grapes one by one from the vine.

Downstairs

 

The front door is a double leaf metal door with decorative metalwork which leads into the first of two lounges.  There is a woodburner opposite the front door, a lounge area on one side and a dining area on the right.

The passagway to the left takes you to the modern downstairs shower room and then onto a large dressing area.   When I say large, I mean large.  I don’t think that I would have enough clothes to fill the built in wardrobes.  From here there are two doorways, one into a spacious double or king size bedroom with two windows.   The other goes to the 4th bedroom or study and a storage room.   The 4th bedroom/study has a cute shelf at head height to present your treasured collection.  Adding some simple LED lighting in the recess would make things really come to life.

There is side access outside up a few steps from the 4th bedroom/ study so it would also work well as a treatment room or similar.  Outside you have a small courtyard which leads to the large outbuilding.  Currently the access is via a pedestrian door on the side, you may be able to add a larger door on the side with vehicle access.

Going back to the lounge, to the right is the dining area and from there the large modern kitchen.  The kitchen has gloss grey units with worktop over.  The central island has a marble top.   With built in dishwasher, oven and hob and sink.  There is plenty of space for the 2 fridge freezers, washing machine and more.  There is a huge amount of storage space amongst the kitchen cupboards.   You can also reach the front terrace direct from the kitchen so perfect for your breakfast or morning cuppa.

One step up takes you to the mini hallway, there is a small utility alcove at the end and the stairs rise to the side.  As you look up the stairs you get a glimpse of the lovely wooden beamed ceiling.

Upstairs

 

Once upstairs you find yourself in the 2nd lounge which has windows at both ends, access to the top very private terrace and a feature fireplace.

Step down from the upstairs lounge into another huge bedroom with lovely old beams and two windows which open to the front.  All of the doors and windows in this property are double glazed black aluminium with integral persianas (blinds) for added security and to moderate the light/shade.

Further along the hallway from the bedroom takes you past the upstairs bathroom to another large bedroom which is really light and airy.  It has been used as an artists studio previously.  There are two doors out onto the upper terraces which have spectacular views to the mountains beyond.

The upstairs bathroom is light and spacious with twin his and hers basins, a full size bath and a separate shower cubicle.

Summary

This house is 1km or less to a lovely Spanish bar which does tapas and food and also has a small shop inside for the essentials.  Within a ten minute drive you can be in Oria which has several mini supermarkets, municipal pool for the Summer, several bars and eating places and a thriving cultural scene with several fiestas to enjoy.  Overall you get a huge amount of house for your money.  A little cosmetic updating is needed.
